Thank you for your inquiry. I have forwarded this to
the Ansteorran Heralds list as they have more knowledge
of Onomastics than myself and can give you a better
response.

Your Lordship,

It has been some time since we last spoke and I pray
this finds You well and satisfied with the way life is
treating you.

I have done some more research into the surname that I
wish to attempt to use as my own and would like your
opinion.

Anfudan - IRISH NAMES pg 23 . O Corrain & MacQuire

(meaning: Turbulent, fiery, temptuos)

Mag Oirc - Surnames of Ireland MacLysacht

"Loughinsholin - Derived from for the "lough of the
island of the O'Lynns" - who were originally O'Flynn,
chiefs of Ui Tuirtre. O'Hegarty is found centered in
this area, as well as in Tirkeeran. A MacGurk sept, of
the Cenel Binnigh, was noted here near the parish of
Magherafelt in medieval times. ..."

MacGURK NAME ON MAP: MacOIRC MODERN COUNTY: Londonderry
MEANING: `son of Orc'. (The name may derive from orc
`pig'.)

I understand that these current scribes may not prove
as appropriate sources; however then again they may
help to validate my claim.

In any event I again thank you for your most gracious
assistance.

I remain your cousin in the Dream

Brother Kris
