It is very good to hear from brother Kris once again.
Hope he is getting along well.

Anfudan from the OCorrain entry should be fine as a Gaelic given name for
any period before 1200.

MacGurk
Black, Surnames of Scotland, page 507 header MacGurk gives the origin as son
of Corc.
page 476 header MacCorc gives Corc as an old Irish name genitive Cuirc.
Curc is the Ogham form if you want really early Irish.
OCorrain, page 59 header Corcc gives it from the 12th century.
Woulfe, Irish Names and Surnames, page 416 Mac Cuirc lists MacGruk as modern
English form.

Oirc shows up in the Annals of Rawlinson but that one is written in Middle
Irish Gaelic and hasn't been translated.  I am not sure of the context the
name is being used and will have to get help with the translation.
