Margarette and Marguaritte- 1528 are list at Late Period Feminine Names
from the South of France

Marguerite la lavendière is found in 1292 Census of Paris at

 Dauzat's Noms et Pre noms, page,482, s.n. Pie/gut. I think it says it
is a Occitan place-name. Pie/gu is another form, but I don't understand
the rest of the French. I didn't find Piaget. Hopefully someone with
more French sources can help.

Margarete was found in two St. Gabriel letters as a German and a
Scoto-Norman(1) given name.
