Similar situation, but likely not Owen & Aeddan since Aeddan registered
first. Owen registered later. So it was the more common direction of
presumption. & Aeddan gave Owen a letter of permission.

There's one submission under discussion in the CoA right now (and I can't
remember anything about it other than that - too many submissions, too
little brain :) ) that would be the situation if Owen registered his name
(Owen ap Aeddan ap Trahearn) first and then Aeddan happened to pick his
name (Aeddan ap Trahearn) that exactly matches the patronymic in Owen's name.

Ummm, I just noticed something, in the online O&A, the final elements of
the name don't match. (See below.) Was that intentional?

     Aeddan ap Trahaearn
This name was registered in July of 1996 (via Ansteorra).

     Owen ap Aeddan ap Trahaearne
This name was registered in December of 1998 (via Ansteorra).

On the 07/1998 LoI available at the Ansteorra site, Owen's name was listed
as: Owen ap Aeddan ap Trahaearne. I have no idea how Aeddan's name was
submitted.
