Tec is right: RfS VIII.3 boings it.  It's not just ordinaries, but as
that quote showed, other "simple geometric charges".  That's like
roundels, lozenges, delfs ... I think mullets are as complicated as
you can get with fimbriation, but I'd have to check precedents to be
absolutely sure.
