I want to brag on these people, and not just because bragging on Etienne is
a major part of my SCA career. :)

A member of my local shire who, mysteriously, is open-minded and eager to
have period heraldry (I know, I know), went to these folks, and came away
with a period name and device submitted (full service is GREAT, isn't it?)
that just makes me weep with joy -- and makes Etienne, at least, practically
hop up and down.

Look for "Charles le Grey" (a very nice mid-period English name, I hasten to
add, too) in the appropriate upcoming gazette and bask in the glow of his
device submission, and know that your fellows have Done Good.

Those of you who did the table, thanks for working with Charles. The results,
assuming they pass laurel in due course, will likely be held up as an example
of "THIS COULD BE YOU IF YOU LISTEN TO YOUR FRIENDLY HERALDS" locally for a
long time.

Chandra
not the local herald, just an excitable PE
