As long as the wings are there it shouldn't conflict with lions.  Griffins
normally get a CD from demi-griffins as well as other monsters like dragons
and eagles.  Any other conflict would be have to be from somewhere out in
left field.  Reviewing the precedents didn't turn up any surprises.

I would venture an opinion that a demi-griffin would conflict with demi
versions of the keythong, opinicus, and hippogriff.  All these were checked
and no conflict was found.  No demi opinici or demi hippogriffs were even
found in the armorial.
