I just got this from a friend, and thought you all might get a hoot
out of it. It sounds like a con to me.

Item Description:
This is a Deed of Conveyance for the 900 year old Feudal
Barony of Jamnia, from the patrimony of His Royal Highness Prince
Edward, The Prince of Galilee. This hereditary feudal title is a rare
offering and traces its history to the foundation of the Latin
Principality of Galilee. The ancient town of Jabneh was conquered
from the Philistines by Uzziah, King of Judah. The town was later
renamed Jamnia and became a center for Hebrew scibes. After the
conquest of Palestine by the crusaders, Jamnia became a seigneury of
the Principality of Galilee, later the ancient fief was elevated to
the rank of a barony. Although now ceremonial, the title elevates the
owner to the rank and dignity of a noble of the Latin Principality of
Galilee. The Deed grants to the purchaser and their descendents the
right to maintain a court of noble officers such as Baron Steward,
Baron Marshal, Baron Chancellor, Baron Chamberlain, Almoner, Keeper
of the Seal, Baron Serjeant, Lady in Waiting, Gentlemen !
in Waiting, Constable, Master of the Horse, Bailiff and many more.
The title additionally allows the holder to legally style themselves
as “Sa Excellence X, le Baron de Jabneh (His Excellency, The
Baron of Jamnia)” or "son Excellence X le Baronne de Jabneh (
Her Excellency The Baroness of Jamnia.)" While immediate family
members would be entitled to use the appelation “Sa/son
Excellence X, Baron/Baronne de Jabmnia ( His/Her Excellency X
Baron/Baroness of Jamnia).” The territory of the Prince of
Galilee was one of the largest and most powerful crusader states of
the Holy Land. First established by crusading French knights in the
latter part of the eleventh century, the Princes of this famous land
have long held a position of preeminence among the other great houses
of the former Christian kingdom of the Levant. They were for
centuries, heirs to the thrones of Lesser Armenia, Jerusalem and
Cyprus, until the later kingdoms fall in 1489. During the period!
when its Royal See was located in Tiberias, the Princes of Galilee
enjoyed virtual sovereignty. They waged war, coined money and granted
titles with little regard for the kings that sat enthroned in
Jerusalem. This historical sovereignty was given official recognition
recently by the Lusignan Royal family( former Kings of Jerusalem,
Cyprus, and Lesser Armenia). If you are the winning bidder for this
auction you will receive a statutory declaration detailing the
history of the Latin Kingdom, and a Deed of Conveyance legally
transferring ownership of the title to you. To authenticate your new
rank, you will receive a non-transferable copy of the Prince’s
governing letters, showing the endorsement and official seal of the
Royal Family of Jerusalem, which is fully legalized under the
signature of Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for Foreign &
Commonwealth Affairs and under the embossed State Seal and Stamp of
the United Kingdom. As a noble you will be fully reco!
gnized by governments in your title and rank and enjoy all the
privileges accorded your position. The Barony of Jamnia is FULLY
recognized by the Russian Imperial House of Romanov and the Russian
Ministry of Justice. Petitions for grants of Arms for these titles
may be made to the Russian College of Heraldry (under the patronage
of the Russian Imperial Family) or the American College of Heraldry.
The owner may chose his or her heir, as well as will, gift or
otherwise transfer their title. In the event no heir is designated
the title automatically passes to the eldest child or nearest blood
relative. If you have any questions about this auction please inquire
before you bid.
