Right, or as a charge on an orle or bordure (which has been done
only like twice, so I'm not even sure that they're still registerable).
A single tressure alone has only been registered twice since
the early 1980s, and I suspect that they were just blazon errors
(the LoI had a single tressure and Jaelle just forgot to correct it).
Also, a tressure follows the line of the escutcheon just like an orle.
