That would be nice if there was an exception made. I spent 3 hours yesterday
looking in every country in the world for anything that would save the
rising star but the clossest thing I found was the order of the rising sun
from japan but it dates 1875. So if there is no excrptions then we will need
a new name for it. I also have heard that there maybe 3 more awards get
canned for non-period use of names.

+AD4- Greetings and Hi There,
+AD4- OK, so let me see. I'm just trying to get the overall picture here. From
+AD4- 01/07/89 to Francois's time, we had 7 Stars, correct?
+AD4- So how come it took so long for the Rising Star paper work to get started?
+AD4- It's not like we start a bunch of new awards. Not having looked, but
+AD4- perhaps 6 or 7 in the past 12 years? Perhaps I'll research that this
+AD4- afternoon after I get back from the Shire shed.
+AD4- Couldn't Laurel just make an exception and pass it so the 239 recipients
+AD4- it wouldn't feel badly about the whole thing?
+AD4- Gilli
