De Felice had no spelling <Allessandro/a>

Alessandra (one 'l')-
De Felice, Emidio. Dizionario dei nomi italiani, 1997, Arnoldo
Mondadori, Editor, ISBN 88-04-42559-8, pages 53-54, s.n. Alessandro.
Feminine Alessandra. (My words) Used mostly in the north...the Greek is
Alexandros and the Latin is Alexander...after Alexander of Troy and
Alexander the Great, plus numerous saints.

Alessandro is also found as in the Florentine Tratte dated from 1317 to
1522.

Giovanni-
De Felice, Emidio. Dizionario dei cognomi italiani, 1997, Arnoldo
Mondadori, Editor, ISBN 88-04-42791-4, page 139, s.n. Giovanni. Diffused
in all of Italy...gave rise to the patronymic Di Giovanni...after the
cult of St. John the Baptist, and St. John the Evangelist.

Giovanni is also found as a surname found in the Florentine Tratte dated
from 1337 to 1516.

It is my understanding that by the 15th century there were many
surnames. <Alessandra di Giovanni> would be fine for an earlier
persona, and <Alessandra Di Giovanni> or <Alessandra Giovanni> would be
fine for later SCA period.

Just my two cents.
