I have found a feminine Latin name <Amaru> in some of my Feminine Names
in Southern Italy data.  A Latin name after 1100 AD.

A Google search turns up a name of a belly dancing teacher in
California, and a few businesses.

I didn't see it during a quick look in the Medieval Names Archive.
