Howdy,

I have nine names with devices for a total of 18 items for submission to
the Ansteorran CoH. Please check them over and let me know if there are
any conflicts on the devices. Documantation for the names would be good
as all I had was Withycombe and the website that mari provided. I can
print out what is online as needed.

Item four, I think, will need Da'ud's attention ;)

1) Moorelan Robroy

Something tells me this is going to be a problem. The submitter is
looking of an 11 th C. Male name. When I looked up 'Moorelan', could
only be found it as a surname. 'Robroy' is a contraction of 'Robert Roy
MacGregor', or so I have been told, and I did find a registration of
'<given> Robert MacGregor' done in recent years (92) so I don't think it
will be a problem to use. If 'Robroy' is not a period surname, the
submitter will accept the changes. Just have to work on the 'Moorelan'
part....

Device - 'Vert, a lion rampant contourney within a double tressure Or'

2) Cecily Dunn

A good English name. The submitter is shooting for a 13th C. English
name so this should not be a problem.

Device - 'Quarterly sable and gules, a house cat passant, a chief
embattled argent'

3) Guillaum de Muerte

The submitter is know as 'Bones', hence the 'de Muerte'. If someone has
something closer, let me know. The submitter does not have a specific
time period, but did mention Spanish as a culture.

Device - Time for the CoH to play. The submittor wants something simple,
in green and black with white if necessary. Since he wants to very
simple to draw/paint he is looking for field only armoury. All
suggestions accepted.

4) Aria ben David Zeharia

The first name is pronounced R E A, the language is Hebrew with no time
period spefied, and the name is supposed to mean, 'Aria, son of David
who was known as the tiger'. I'm sending this one Da'ud's way in the
hopes he has something that would help the submittor in the way of
documentation or suggestions for a better name construction.

Device - 'Per bend sinister azure and Or, a heraldic tiger sejant erect
counterchanged'

As an alternative, the user, who was originally from CAID if that makes
any difference, also mentioned 'Or, a crescent between 3 roundels
gules' (with a bordure sable embattled if necessary)

5) Madyn ap Cadell

Looking for welsh/gaelic name and from St. Gabriel's, this should work
fine. Let me know if we're wrong.

Device - 'Per bend sinister, a cross moline and an arm armoured
counterchanged'

The user was also looking at a 'cross calvary' if the 'cross moline' was
not a sifficient differnece and needed to be swithched out. I did not
find anything with these charges, but I am remembering something vague
about that not being enough for a search for sufficient difference.

6) Kael the Lucky

This was supposedly submitted a long time ago, but I could not find a
record of it and the submitter mentioned sending the money to corporate
with his submission forms as well as his membership renewal. The user is
in the military and soon it will be difficult to contact him shortly if
there is a problem with any of his submissions. He has been known by
this name for a while and 'Keal' should not be a problem. 'the Lucky'
may need to be transliterated to match the language of the first name.

Device - 'Argent, a four-leaf clover vert, tierced raguly sable'

This should have X.2 difference from Bordermarche because of the
completely different primary charge.

7) Albrecht auf der Leirnstine

The submitter would like 'auf der' instead of 'von' if possible, but
will live with the change if necessary

Device - 'Azure, on a pile Or a mug bendwise handle to base vert'

8) Piroska in Bareyska

This name is an Hungarian/Scandinavian mix from the St. Gariel's site
and the docs there say it is possible if I read them right.

Device - 'Azure, a Pegasus affronty displayed argent'

I'm looking to steal a picture for this from a certain movie producer's
site for this graphic. ;)

9) Demothnes Allagon

Wish I could say more on this name other than it is Byzantine, but
Finnian MacLeod help the submitter with it. I believe they used the St'
Gabriel's site for documentation.

Device - 'Per pale Sable and argent, a Vol and in chief an annulet
counterchanged'

If anyone wants a graphic for any of these, let me know and I will draw
them up for you. I'll be getting back with the submittors after I hear
from you all.

Thanks for your time. This is as much as an average ILoI so I expect it
to take a little while.

Borek
