Could you not wear their livery, and have their badge over your left breast?
No need to wear there actual arms.  You could also use a basic field
division using their primary tinctures on your shield.  I know I used to
have a green field with my knights badge in the top right corner as you look
at it on my shield.  But that just confused everyone. Now I use my own arms.

This is true as far as it goes.  One late-period continental display
that I'd like to see more of used, however, is to put the arms of your
liege-lord in your arms as a *chief* (known as a "chief of allegiance").
