The addition of tails or splitting of tails was used in some period
cases interchangeably on the arms of the same family.  It was just how
they chose to draw it at that time.  So there is no difference for tail
splits or number.

Just a quick question:

Would placing additional tails on a beast give the charge a CD from the
one-tailed variety? For example, a three-tailed wolf. Any help would be
