I just wanted to let all know that Master Rumil has handed both physical 
files and electronic data to me and proclaimed the Order of Precedence and 
related duties my privilege and responsibility, and so I accept these and 
greet you with my new hat (I hope you like the look of it.)

I would be remiss if I did not plead for mercy -- that is, if I did not 
hope that all will bear with me as I come up to speed.  Master Rumil has 
been helpful above and beyond any reason of expectation for which I have 
thanked him in person and thank him again here.

My address -- that's the one court reports should dutifully be sent to by 
all heralds! -- is listed in the Black Star under Zodiacus Herald as of the 
July issue.  Please do not hesitate to contact me (email is preferable, if 
only for the written record, but something can be worked out as need
