Parker mentions similar coats borne by people named Blancfront,
Hogeley, Butteler, Barlay, as well as by a Benedictine abbey at
Winchcombe (Gloucester).  Since he just mentions the surname, it's not
clear whether these people used the coat by inheritance or whether
they appear to be independent.  The motif being used by an abbey is
also a counter-argument.  I think more research would be needed.
