Well, I don't think anyone will call you before the court of the Earl
Marshal to dispute the right to display arms.  After all, we hold events in
which people portray actual historical people for themed events.  I don't
see that this would be much different....just that in this case these arms
happen to be attributed to one of your ancestors. :)
