Reaney and Wilson is no particular help for Ironwyrm. There's
Iremonger (iron seller), Ironfoot, Ironman, Irontoe, and Ironside
(each in various period spellings). But that justifies one who sells
a common metal, or one who has a body part noted for being touch (so I
think Ironhead or Ironarm justified, though perhaps not Ironlung or
Ironpizzle). And there's Worm, but no modified forms are attested,
and various Worm- names that may be etymologically unrelated (Wormald
/ Wormhill, Warmwell, Wormington, all locatives).
