Hi

My name is Clare RosMuire St. John and His Sparkling Greatness the Star P. 
Herald has asked me to start developing the Office of Tressure Herald, aka 
the Educational arm of the Heralds.  Some of you may have met me at the 
King's Roundtable recently and some of you may know me personally.  I'm 
very excited to work again in the College of Heralds after a lapse of time 
and hope you all have patience while I learn the changes that have gone on 
during my break.
	In case, you might want some background on who I am and all. I have been 
in the SCA for about 25ish years, and the first office I ever held was 
Pursuivant for the then Shire and later Barony of Bjornsborg.  I have 
worked (among other areas) as Asterisk Herald, Sable Quill and Star Signet 
and currently am Nimbus Herald extraordinary.  I have held a variety of 
other offices as well (not Heraldically related).  I was the creator of 
King's College and participate in many colleges and symposium - teaching 
and organizing. Currently I am the class coordinator for the Fall Arts 
Symposium and live in the Barony of Bryn Gwlad. Mundanely, I work at the 
University of Texas in Austin, developing  and scheduling classes for the 
School of Biological Sciences.  Learning for me, is the most important part 
of the SCA (more than fighting - grin).
	Since it has been a few years since I have been active in the Herald's 
office, I hope you will help me out and have patience with my thousands of 
questions.
	My first step in developing the office is to find out what is already in 
place, who's doing what and how well it is working.  So I'm here to ask you 
several questions.

	If you have ever taught a class (local, Kingdom or Knowne World) would you 
send me a note describing the same, who you are and your background to 
teaching this class?
	Do you teach the  warranting class or have you taught it?  On an average 
how many people have taken it from you?
	How effective do you feel it is? What would you like to change about it?
	Where did you get your test from and how long have you been using it?
	What classes/areas would you like to see developed?
	Do you have any suggestions on what you'd like to see developed in this 
office?
	Are you interested in helping with the office either as a deputy, an 
instructor or as a source for information and ideas?
