[ANSTHRLD] Sea-Serpent or Serpent?

You are probably right and I wouldn't bet against you on it; however, I 
would be interested to hear if it were not a cant on the Irish legend of 
St. Patrick driving all the snakes from Ireland. Sounds like something a 
devious herald would pull.....
