[ANSTHRLD] Ansteorran Heraldic & Scribal Symposium

A bid has been received and accepted for the 2005 Ansteorran Heraldic & 
Scribal Symposium (AH&SS).  I am pleased to announce that the Shire of 
Middleford has been awarded the event.  Event announcements, an August 
Black Star ad, and more details will be forthcoming.  Immediate details 
include:

~ Event: Ansteorran Heraldic & Scribal Symposium
~ Site: Central Texas College in Killeen, TX, Shire of Middleford*
~ Date: Saturday, August 20, 2005 **
~ Cost: FREE ***

Footnotes:
* - Since the symposium became an annual event, this will be the first time 
it has been held in the Southern Region.
** - This is the Saturday on the last weekend of Pennsic.  It is the only 
date the college had available for Middleford's bid.  While we will lose 
some heralds and scribes to Pennsic (and we wish them a safe and fun trip), 
the remaining heralds, scribes, and populace should have a very good symposium.
*** - Yes, FREE.  A donor is covering the event costs so this event can be 
held for free.  No NMS fee because it is free.  You still have to show a 
blue card or sign the waiver though.
