I simply didn't notice "a scarpe" and "a bordurelet".
I'll be more precise in my wording (CHANGED/ADDED WORDING IN CAPS):
The College of Arms does not register single diminutives, so in the
SCA you can't REGISTER "a scarpe" -- NEW BLAZONS WILL INCLUDE "SCARPE"
ONLY FOR DESIGNS THAT have two or more scarpes.
Which is to say: 1981? You're lucky the blazon is readable; the
design isn't registerable, but per Corpora it's too late now. We did
a lot of things differently back then. Consider the arms of the
Steppes, for one blatant example.
I've looked at the emblazon. I suspect Wreath would not like to mess
with the blazon. The bordure and the bend(let) sinister are (to my
eyes) *just* at the edge of "return it for being too narrow": I'd
argue return, other would suggest just an artist's note. Also, it was
colored in with a colored pencil, so the field is a lovely robin's egg
blue. Since the blazon is clear, and we give no difference for
diminutives against the undiminutived, I'd leave it be.
