Those I use the most are probably

O'Corrain and Maguire; Irish Names
Reaney and Wilson; Dictionary of English Surnames
Withycombe; Oxford Dictionary of English Christian Names

followed closely by

Black; Surnames of Scotland
Bardsley; Dictionary of English and Welsh Surnames
Woulfe; Irish Names and Surnames
Geirr-Bassi Haraldsson; The Old Norse Name
Eckwall; Dictionary of English Place-Names
Bahlow-Gentry; German Names

The rest of my books come off of the shelves as needed, but those above
tend to live on my desk
