I knew that I had read the phrase "Bohun earls of ...", so I Googled
for it.  Hereford, mostly, but also Essex and Northampton, at various
times.  <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humphrey_de_Bohun> describes the
many Humphreys de Bohun.
