Good idea for the LoIs...

For local submissions heralds, if you'll either drop me an email letting me
know you sent a packet and want confirmation, OR stick a post-it note into
the packet itself, that'll usually get an emailed response from me when I do
get the packet. (Otherwise it ends up just another semi-anonymous packet in
my inbox.)

While I'm here, some of you may have noticed the increasing size of the
ILoIs lately. The July letter is looking to be around 30 items strong at
this point. If you have commented in the past but stopped, or have never
commented but have contemplated it, please do! By all means you don't have
to do the entire letter; pick the last half, or the first half, or every
other one, or just the ones you're comfortable with.
