Which submission was it?

If you look at the AICC published in the Gazette, at the bottom of the commentary, there are specific places for listing what happened.  They always start wtih "College Action:"

That data will let you know exactly what happened.

Also, if that is not clear enough, then look at the LoI online to see if it shows in there.  So if your return was in the May Gazette, then that means that it was the April meeting and if you check the April LoI, you can see if it got put in or not.

And of course, there is always that handy dandy HST!

  Not having seen anyone answer this, I'll try. 

  If you read it in the AICC of the May Gazette that it was returned then you can consider that "official" notice and send your re-submission to Asterisk as soon as you want to.

  If I'm wrong, someone will correct me, I hope.
