[ANSTHRLD] Reservations for KWHSS 2006

Greetings gang, 
There appear to be a few communications problems with the hotel for Knowne World Heraldic and
Scribal Symposium in New Orleans, so wanted to make a few suggestions for a successful booking. 

When calling the hotel 'Four Points Sheraton New Orleans', don't book online, call the direct
front desk number at (504) 885-5700.   Call during business hours, Mond - Friday, 9am-6pm.  Be
sure to ask to make a reservation with the direct hotel and confirm you are not speaking to
someone at their reservation central 800 number; else you may run into issues.   

Be sure to request the 'Society for Creative Anachronism' rate, and confirm it's $82. a night, it
should be for up to 4 persons in the room.  The SCA has a block of rooms reserved, and there
should be no problem getting rooms.  If you have any issues, please contact the event autocrat
'Kat the Strange', at <katthestrange at aol.com> to assist.  

I did have issues making the reservation after hours with the central reservations 800 number, but
once I called during business hours to the main hotel - no problems; so keep trying.
