Here's a few more answers to questions you haven't asked yet.
(1) The situation you're going to describe is pretty much hopeless.
Just bug out. Tell her that you'll send it up. On the packet, if
you want, you can put a Post-It note on the top saying, "Asterisk,
I know this can't pass, but she's a local peer and I have to get
along with her in the group". Let kingdom be the heavies -- it's
part of their job. When it gets bounced, you can commiserate with
her about how mean *those* heralds are, and *then* maybe you can
help her get something registerable but that she still likes.
(2) Actually, "pizzly" is one of the suggestions for what to call the
polar bear-grizzly hybrid that they just found in the wild for the
first time. (It had been known from captivity for some years.)
Whatever he calls it, Joshua can't have any number of pizzles on
his shield -- not semy, not three, not one, not a chance nohow.
(3) We've seen more bizarre linguistic combinations. I know this
combo is registerable, but I don't have the precedent at the
moment -- check the Lingual Weirdness Rulings table at
<http://www.ellipsis.cx/~liana/sca/weirdness_table.html>
(4) Only for someone with a grant or higher.
(5) No, it's a conflict. Good catch!
(6) Eight.
(7) Yes.
