Facing the same way isn't required, but it is better heraldic style.  The 
modern eye prefers symmetry, as you have drawn it.  (Reflected in a mirror, 
it looks the same.)  But the medieval eye preferred repetition -- each raven 
looks like the other.

A glance at the shields or banners at any event will show you that the 
modern approach is acceptable -- it just would be more medieval if they both 
faced to the (shield's) right.
