Hey gang,
Just checking on a point of precidence. As per Neassa's response in a post on the Loch lists this
week (see above), when a landed B&B are granted a Court Barony on their stepping down, that the
Court Barony is adjusted on the OP to be as-of-the-date of their ascension to the baronial seat;
instead of the date they retired and granted the CB:
CB 1992-04-26 the XYZ Barony 04/26/92 - 09/09/95

Unless they had been granted a CB before they were landed, in that case the early CB date is
listed, with a notation of the landed next to it with name of Barony and dates of landed service:
CB 1982-05-01 the XYZ Barony 05/30/87 - 09/09/95

And for seated Baron/ess in Fief the notation is:
B-FIEF 2006-10-15 Baron XYZ 10-15-2006 till present

?? What does the OP list if the person was a Baron/ess in fief, but for some reason was never
granted a CB on retirement?

I just hadn't noticed the formats of CB before...Interesting!
Cheers, Hillary
