Actually, this point makes me re-consider Daniel's point.  :)  Now I think it's invalid.  :)
 
We don't actually record past kings and queens.  We may have a list of them, but if you look at a past king it only shows the date of his county or duchy, but if he reigned more than twice, there is no notation.
We show all AWARDS on the OP even if they're non-precedence...  KBC, Lion, sable falcon.... because they're still awards.
 
But a person's time as a Baron in Fief isn't an award.   Just like a person's time as King isn't an award.
 
Ergo, it shouldn't be listed in the OP.
 
Just my thought.
