Nope, it's still doable. Assuming no conflict issues, anyway, of course!
(ie, if you have "a black star on a gold canton", then it'll be checked for
conflict as if THAT were the sole piece of armory.)

Memory says his field is black, right? So if a solid gold canton with a
blackstar has a conflict (which it probably does, darned stars&suns),
normally I'd suggest using the actual kingdom badge (with a letter of
permission to conflict) and have it be a gold canton with a black
border....except that you couldn't distinguish that from the field. :)  

My net is currently down, so I can't easily conflict check possibilities,
but there are lots. Usually people want something designed so it's obvious
to the casual viewer that an augmentation is there. I'm sure we can figure
something out that he'll like. I'll brainstorm ideas tomorrow when my net
(hopefully) will be working again.
