[ANSTHRLD] OP question - Court Baronies and Baronies in fief

My bad. I read Baron Francois' post as a continuation of the discussion regarding Court Baronys of those who had had Baronies in Fief, not a side note on the order of precedence of the current landed nobility. Your recollection matches mine on the latter.

As I recall, in Ansteorra sitting landed barons and baronesses have
precedence according to the date on which their group was elevated to
baronial status, not according to the date on which the sitting
individuals themselves were invested. If so, then, at the moment that
a new baron and baroness of Stargate are invested, they immediately
take precedence over all other landed baron/esses in Ansteorra, even
if another had been sitting since Clare was a pup. Then in order
Steppes, Bjornsborg, Bordermarch, Bryn Gwlad, et cetera.
