Updates to Mari's list:

Rundel
        [McAlester, OK]
        [was Glomedal, Gnomen Vale, Gnomevale]
note: I don't think any versions of the
name ever made it to the Laurel level

Rundel originally started the incipient process as a shire I believe. Then switched to a college and finally a canton. Which state they were in at each name submission attempt, only the files may know. I do know that Rundel, Canton of, left kingdom and went to Laurel but was pulled before the decision meeting as the group was dissolved due to population reasons before the name and arms were approved.

Mooneschadowe, Shire of
        reg. Jun. 1984 (via Ansteorra)

Mooneschadowe is now a Provence.

An Loch, Shire of
        reg. Apr. 2006 (via Ansteorra)

If I am not mistaken, An Loch is another Chemin Noir (Bisons Run). I believe they are in the Borger, TX area and are a completely separate group from the previously defunct Turris Aquilae, Shire of. (Which I confused with Turris Animarum yesterday.)
        [Borger, TX]
[was Hillsfar Haven - don't think this name made it to Laurel]
        reg. Dec. 1993 (via Ansteorra)
        rel. Feb. 2005 (via Ansteorra).

Wyndhame, Shire of
        reg. Aug. 1988 (via Ansteorra)
device rel. Dec. 2004 (via Ansteorra)
name transfer to East, Laurel return 12/04

Interesting events here, though no updates to Mari's notes. Ansteorra was approached by a group in the East Kingdom interested in the name but not the arms. The Crown agreed to the transfer and it went to Laurel. (The arms were released.) But... The group forming was based in Wyndhome (sp?) county in CT. Laurel returned because the SCA name has to different from the legal, non-SCA name. So, Ansteorra still owns the name, the arms are released, and the I never heard what happened to the group in the East.
