Dim memory says someone once told me a story of the Early Days wherein
Wastelands was the name used for what later became the Northern Region of
Ansteorra, and that was the reason behind registering that name for the
Enid/Alva/Fairview, OK group, because they wanted to preserve that name in
official history.  If true, it would be kinda neat to keep the name around
for a while (and reuse it at some point) just because of that. :)
