I was going to make that point too.  Mari noted the possibility of
airport shuttles if not held at an airport.  You don't *need*
them--often enough I've just taken the Blue Shuttle or whatever.

The "canonical" but not mandatory schedule should be mentioned:
= Friday:
     - daytime or afternoon outing to someplace locally interesting for
       those who get in early.  If it's particularly interesting, it
       can induce people to show up early (like the Cahokia Indian
       mounds docented tour for me at Saint Louis).
       Medieval a plus.  Medieval Times probably a minus.
     - night: meet-and-greet and registration.
= Saturday:
     - classes
     - maybe Laurel meeting with kingdom principal heralds / submission
       heralds / staff
     - often with a Laurel state of the college / bitch session at the
       end of the day
     - sometimes a game like Heraldic Jeopardy (Leopardy?)
     - outing(s) for non-herald family
     - dinners out (restaurant guide helps throughout)
     - night: party-like objects
= Sunday morning:
     - a couple of hours for a Laurel + Wreath + Pelican road-show
       decision meeting
