Hi Mari,

If I can't find anything in my stuff then I end with De Felice.

I found the <Feliciani> family which dates back to 1217 in
Dizionario Storico – Blasonico delle Famiglie Nobili e Notabili
Italiane Estinte e Fiorenti. 3 vols. Compilato - G. B. di
Crollalanza (1886). Arnaldo Forni Editore. No ISBN. pp.396 &397.

Not word-for-word translation. (pleeeeze feel free to re-translate)

Franceso, Enrico
e Rigo dei Feliciani ebbero parte nell pubblica amministrazione
fino nel 1500.

Feliciani [family of Bologna] Swore, as supporters of the
Lambertazzi, the peace of 1279 and they had taken part of the
crusade of 1217.
Enrichetto, one of the old ones made embellishments to the city in
1294 …
Ando, ambassador to Ancona in the 1293, went to stable peace with
Faenza.
Franceso, Enrico and Rigo of the Feliciani had part in the final
Public Administration in 1500.

So, some ancestor was named <Feliciano>.

I will gladly supply photocopies.

Give me a bit and I'll work on De Felice.
