Neither spelling was in the book.  Sorry.

If all else fails  'The History of Prussia: From the Earliest Times 
to the Present Day.' By Walter James Wyatt (1876) is at Google 
Books mentions Driesen. It is a Full View book which means it is 
out of copy-right and can be downloaded for documentation.
