There can be strings attached.  For example, Yahoo can require login
to their groups, for example.  Furthermore, the images are usually
transient -- they are for the purpose of one question only, and after
a few days they're not needed.

I suspect a fair number of people have Web space thru their ISP.  Such
people can post their own images and list the URL here.  I have space,
and Coblaith does, and I'm sure we can host images temporarily.
