Sure.

"How do you conflict-check a device?" in Karl Fausus von Aachen's Heraldry FAQ <http://flurf.net/heraldry/checking> is a quick point-by-point overview of the process.

Lady Teceangl Bach's "Basic Conflict Checking" <http://www.antirheralds.org/education/basic_conflict_checking.html> covers the fundamentals in a little more depth and includes some practice exercises.

Rouland Carre's "De Bello Armoram" <http://www.midrealm.org/heraldry/education/dba_part1.htm> gives similar information with more explication.

Daniel de Lincoln's "The Primary Charge Group in Conflict Checking" <http://www.midrealm.org/heraldry/education/primary.htm> and "RfS X.2, 'Difference of Primary Charges'" <http://www.midrealm.org/heraldry/education/x2.htm> explore the indicated elements in more detail and would be a good place to go if you find them confusing.
