My wife, Lady Rosamund, found a picture with the old Crown Prince arms being used. That got me thinking and I started doing a little more research.

First, check out the O and A entries for these "Coronet Arms". (Pardon the HTML if it posts that way.)

Anyone else catch the dates? Those were registered before Simonn and Tessa stepped up as 3rd and last Prince and Princess of the Principality of Ansteorra.

Now consider the following link to a photo on the kingdom historian's website. That sure looks like the "Crown Prince's arms" in a photo attributed to Simonn and Tessa's time as Territorial Prince and Princess.

I think these are the arms used by our Territorial Coronets and they got adjusted in some later records updates or registration catch-ups and maybe "mistakenly assigned" as Crown Heirs arms without catching that they actually pre-dated the kingdom.

The forms Emma posted on the list had the tops cut off. Is it possible to get the headers for those?

Anyone have an email for Simonn or Tessa that can ask? Maybe there was a deliberate intent to use the Territorial Arms for the Heirs after we became a kingdom?

Etienne
