Interesting.

The form for "Prince" has at top "Principality/Prince of Ansteorra",
and is listed on the August 1978 LoAR under Atenveldt. Unlike the
OandA, there is no device for Princess listed on that LoAR. On the
"Princess" form it says only "Princess of Ansteorra".

On the July 1979 LoAR, there is an entry:

Ansteorra, Queen of. Or, a mullet of five greater and five lesser
points sable within
and interlaced by a chaplet vert of five roses argent, seeded Or,
within a tressure
sable, overall issuant from base a demi-sun gules.

Originally submitted as Princess, but Ansteorra is now a kingdom.

Then in May 1980:

Kingdom of Ansteorra. Or , a mullet of five greater and five
lesser points sable within
a laurel wreath vert, in chief a crown dancetty, all within a
tressure sable, overall
issuant from base a demi sun gules.

Queen of Ansteorra. Or, a mullet of five greater and five lesser
points sable within
a wreath of six roses sable, barbed, slipped and leaved vert,
each rose charged
with another Or, seeded sable, barbed vert, in chief a crown
dancetty, all within
a tressure sable, overall issuant from base a demi sun gules.

(In August 1984 the Kingdom device was changed to remove the setting
sun, but it was put back in December of 1984.)

So I'm guessing that yes, the arms that are now styled for the Crown
Prince/Princess were in fact originally created for the Principality
of Ansteorra, and were carried over for the heirs use later on. I have
no idea how/when the names were adjusted in the OandA.
