If you wanted to honor a historic figure in a tournament, is there an appropriate way to do so heraldically? I'm planning to honor the memory of Sir Philip Sidney at Ursae Lyons (Sidney died on Oct 17, 1586) and I was wondering if there is a way to display his heraldry (Or, a pheon azure) on the field that isn't presumptuous. Any suggestions? A favor is probably the obvious choice, but I wonder if there is something else.
Thanks,
Alden
