[ANSTHRLD] Looking for standards of directional placements

Where does one find what is "standard" for a charge?

For example, if a submittor wants a rapier on his device, which way does the
point go "naturally"?

I get that lions are "standard" rampant but is it to the left or to the
right as your looking at the device?

These are not the exact questions I have.....My exact question is where do I
find answers to questions like these?
