[ANSTHRLD] Conflict and Blazon Check - Assistance Needed

This is fortunately a pretty easy one to check, although there's one
"gotcha" to be aware of.

First, I went to the Ordinary, to Fish, and saw there are three likely
relevant categories: Fish - Dolphin - 1, Fish - Dolphin - 2, and Fish
- Dolphin - 3 or more. I started with "Fish - Dolphin - 1", because
that best matches what you've got.

There is only one charge on the field (yay!), so by X.1 (addition of
primary charges) and X.2 (substantially different charges) we only
need to check armory that has dolphins as the primary charge group.
This means that I can skim down the list of armory, and any time I see
"<Field>, on a bend" or "on a pale" or "a horse" or such, I can just
skip right past that one, as the primary charge is substantially
different. I'm only looking for items that start with "<Field>, a
[something] dolphin".

X.4.a tells us that we get a CD for changes to the field, so any other
field than the proposed one is an automatic first CD. Here's the
gotcha, though: "Chape" fields can be considered as an equivalent to
"Per chevron throughout"; in other words, you would not get a CD for
difference of field between the proposed device and one that was "Per
chevron throughout purpure and argent".

You can either start skimming through the ENTIRE list now, or first
jump down and see if there are any items with an identical field
(argent chape purpure, or per chevron throughout purpure and argent).
There aren't, so yay! There's your first CD completely taken care of.

You get CDs for: addition of other charges on the field (X.4.b),
addition of charges overall (X.4.c), change of tincture (X.4.d), (type
changes, except you have no other charges and type changes of your
primary dolphin is covered under X.2 in your case so we can skip this
rule, X.4.e), number changes (X.4.f), arrangement changes (X.4.g),
posture changes (X.4.h), addition of tertiary charges (X.4.i), (aaand
last but not least, changes to tertiary charges which you don't have
so we can skip this rule, X.4.j).

So basically, practically any difference to a single blue naiant
dolphin alone on the field would be worth a CD. Skim down the
remaining items, skipping to the next once your eyes see "between" or
"and a chief" or "haurient" instead of "naiant", or a "dolphin gules"
instead of azure, etc.

I am fairly sure there is at least a CD (and possibly X.2 difference)
between a natural dolphin (aka bottle-nosed dolphin) and a heraldic
dolphin, but that would take a short dig through the precedents to
uncover the exact ruling. Fortunately, we don't have to, because there
aren't any even close!

Now, the next thing to check is those other two categories, Dolphin -
2 and Dolphin - 3 or more. You already know that you get a CD for
number of charges, as 2 or 3 or 15 dolphins is different than 1
dolphin. So you only need to check the exact field (argent chape
purpure and per chevron throughout purpure and argent), because
everything else will have an additional CD for change of field. It's
an exceedingly short check, nothing close.

(You maybe could have saved some time by using the search field in
your browser, but you have to know ahead of time exactly what you're
searching for and how it might be phrased differently than you expect,
and so on -- it's just not that much more time consuming to put eyes
on each and every item, especially when you're learning this stuff.)

Done, and clear!
