Many submitters don't know how to pronounce Irish.  "Caitriona" they
will pronounce "KATE ree OH nah", though the Irish pronounced it
"kah TREE nah" (as I understand it), and I have the impression that
"Caitlyn" is "kat LEEN" not "KATE lynn".  The COA works off of period
pronunciations, as far as we know them, not what the submitter thinks.

I'll ping a Gaelic name expert, if she has time to answer.
