Magnus, thanks for the citation. I rechecked and yes, it's on-line at

and no, Google doesn't show it even with just
mitre site:heraldry.sca.org
and Google has no mechanism to request a recrawl.

A real bishop can be a member. (There's even at least one SCA member
with a bishop's persona: Bish, aka Bishop Geoffrey d'Ayr of Montalban,
a (very) former principal herald.)
However, one's real-world status does not carry over into the SCA. If
Prince William of Wales participated at an SCA event, he'd be "good
gentle" or such -- he wouldn't even be "lord", much less "prince".
And he couldn't register his real-world arms, even with a letter of
permission from Garter or his gran or anyone else. I don't have a
citation for this to hand, but it's something I heard years ago,
perhaps from Da'ud.
