Be advised that if the badge image, via through blazon or emblazon adjustments, is altered to move the knife point down, instead of up, as it currently is.... in addition to the image of the badge being altered, there is also an image on the Heralds main page:

Of a white lion holding a green flag with the scribes badge on it (left top heading banner) and also
of the green flag on the center of the page heading banner, attached to crossed trumpets, with the scribes badge on one of the flags.  
 
Granted, they are really, really tiny, so it maybe a moot point, but just want to point them out, as well. 
Good catch Alasdair, whatever the outcome, makes for a lively discussion.
