My comment was about mistaking the gender of the registered name, not the gender of the submitter.  (1) The ILoI said the submitter requested a masculine name and (2) the documentation forwarded on the LoI was for a masculine given name.

I'm missing something.  How do we know that the submitter did not want a
persona of the opposite sex (not at all uncommon)?
Also, look at our peers: Sir Elizabeth is an acceptable name for a knight.

So sad ... to have a masculine given name mistaken for a feminine one.  (The
surname _was_ selected for it's period meaning out of Bahlow-Gentry).
